Alan Merrill in 1969 at #9 Vicarage Gate, London W8 on a working summer holiday from Japan. Alan did some demos in London that summer with producer Michael Aldred of Ready Steady Go TV fame. Alan would go on to form the successful bands Vodka Collins (Japan) and The Arrows and also Runner (England). He later was a guitarist with the bands Meat Loaf and Derringer in the ’80s.
